Patterson216 is a band from Polk County, Iowa.
You can hear the alternative & indie influences morph into an Alt Country sound w/ an unmistakable groove. Playing for groups from 5 to 750 at a variety of local musical venues, private parties, festivals and events, the band is enjoyed by people of all ages, performing with classic sounds that are spaciously unique. Kowbel, Kopischke and Noble met in 2005. After a few years of playing together, they worked up enough material to play at some of the local jams and finally take their original music to the Des Moines music scene. Josh Crawford was approached in mid 2011 to fill the roll of drummer, percussionist. The combination of Crawford and Kopischke in the percussion section rounds out the creativity of lyric and melody from Noble and Kowbel. What started as a singer / songwriter project continues to evolve. The band has expanded it's offerings to a variety of classic covers with a Patterson twist. This experimentation represents the diverse musical influences of the whole group. Acoustic ballads, ambient electric fills, jam and groove are laced with stories from the heart and off the wall narrative.
